IB Diploma Scholarship
Each year, the International School of Tanganyika (IST) awards a limited number of merit- and need-based scholarships to Tanzanian students seeking to pursue the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Successful candidates receive a two-year, full-tuition scholarship covering IB I and IB II (Grades 11 and 12). This scholarship is designed for students who have completed the Tanzanian national curriculum through Form IV (NECTA CSEE) and wish to transition to the IB Diploma Programme. Applications for the 2026–2027 academic year are now open. Applicants are required to complete the Google application form online. In addition, all supporting documents must be printed and submitted in hard copy to the IST Masaki Campus before the application deadline of March 8. Only applications that include both the completed Google form and the full set of printed supporting documents submitted by the deadline will be considered.
