IST School Board

The International School of Tanganyika (IST) is governed by a Board of Trustees comprised of parents of current IST students. The Board of Governors is responsible for the overall health and long-term future of the school. This is a strategic rather than an operational governance function.
The IST community is  very proud of the school, the teachers, our staff, and the students as they celebrate 59 years of teaching and learning. We are dedicated to achieving continual excellence in all aspects of our board governance practices so that IST may continue to promote a world-class teaching and learning environment for the next several decades and beyond.
